Opinion and commentary

Town of Clinton Chronicle is an independent, personal publication of Graham Trask. Articles, commentary, and other content on this site are expressions of the author's personal opinion on matters of public concern, including the actions, decisions, and policies of local government, public officials, and public bodies in the Town of Clinton, New York and the surrounding area. Statements of opinion should be read as opinion, not as statements of fact.

Where the author relies on facts, those facts are drawn from publicly available sources, such as public meeting agendas, minutes, and recordings; local laws and planning documents; records obtained under New York's Freedom of Information Law (FOIL); and published news reports. Readers are encouraged to review those sources and reach their own conclusions.

“Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
